Clockzones is a menu bar application that helps you track time across different time zones. We take your privacy seriously and want to be transparent about how our application handles data.
Information Collection and Use
Clockzones operates entirely on your local device and does not collect or transmit any personal information. The app stores the following data locally:
- Selected time zones (stored in system preferences)
- Launch at login preference
Location Data
While the app uses location-based calculations for determining sunrise and sunset times, this is done entirely on your device. No location data is collected, stored, or transmitted to external servers.
Data Storage
All preferences and settings are stored locally using macOS's built-in UserDefaults system. This data remains on your device and is not shared with us or any third parties.
Third-Party Services
Clockzones does not integrate with any third-party services or analytics platforms. The app functions completely offline and does not require internet connectivity.
System Integration
The app requests the following system permissions:
- Launch at login capability (optional)
- Menu bar presence
